The article reports that the Gender Issues Division of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is inviting submission of original papers on broadcasting and electronic media topics to be presented at the 49th annual BEA convention in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 16 to 18, 2004. The Division encourages submissions that explore all aspects of gender issues pertaining to electronic media. The theme of the convention entitled "BEA 2004: Bold Visions, Fresh Thinking: Untangling Media's Gordian Knot" will be the focus of the papers to be submitted.
