Abstract
- We have succeeded in assembling a new trigonal aryne ligand, triphenylene-2,6,10-tricarboxylic acid (H<subscript>3</subscript>TTCA) with metal ions to give M<subscript>3</subscript> (TTCA) <subscript>3</subscript>·6DMF·7H2O (M = Zn<superscript>2+</superscript> and Cd<superscript>2+</superscript>) (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide), which networks show non-interpenetrated porous metal carboxylate frameworks and belong to a novel doubly-interwoven SrSi<subscript>2</subscript> topology.
