Abstract
- The author reflects on the media statement released by the General Practice Education and Training (GPET) on the application of doctors for general practice training for 2007 in Australia. He stresses that the number of doctors applying for training has increased for the second year in a row. He also stresses the disappointing news published in the medical weeklies which contradicted the positive results of the previously stated increase in numbers released by GPET.
