Abstract

The article reports on the functions of libraries in the school and their relations to different libraries in the U.S. Books are necessary at all times for use in the same grade such as reference books as well as dictionaries and encyclopedias which are used for research. Libraries keep these books from getting destroyed and as a place to learn. However, libraries in different states have different regulations which are disadvantageous, especially that every student needs them. Moreover, building school libraries within school premises are unnecessary if public libraries are located nearby. The teacher's responsibility does not also end if books are supplied to the schools, instead it is their job to guide the students.
