Abstract

The article presents the case of an 82-year-old woman who was initially presented to an emergency department with chronic left leg edema and no evidence of local or systemic symptoms 5 weeks after a cat bite. It was determined that the patient had a deep abscess and fasciitis caused by Pasteurella multocida. She underwent surgery and after 4 months, her wound had completely healed and she was ambulating without assistance.
