Abstract

The article presents information on plants growing in several regions in the U.S., and offers tips for taking care of them. The false autumn crocus, which can be seen in the northeast region, has big tulip-like blooms of lavender-pink silk on frail stems, and they should be planted in late summer or early fall. The aromatic aster, which can be found in the midwest region, features hundreds of blue-violet flowers with yellow centers and they grow in full sun and well-drained dry soil.
