Abstract
- Violence is learned and passed on from generation to generation. Intervention at the level of the perpetrator and the victim are not enough to prevent the next generation from continuing this pattern. Their children also need professional attention. In groups with siblings encompassing large age differences, challenging new dimensions are offered to the treatment of children of violent families. This article discusses the rationale, methods and case examples of a sibling group approach to treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
