Foundation failure halts Greenwich job.

Abstract: The article reports on pile failure that halted construction on part of the Greenwich Millennium Village project in East London, England. The failure is being investigated by structural engineers. According to piling experts, if all the piles have to be replaced it could cost £1 million in the region. Apartment blocks constructed on the site over the past seven years are not showing any signs of subsidence.
