Abstract
- The article reports that the British Government has praised the access industry for the way in which it has embraced the Work at Height Regulations. The Health & Safety Executive also unveiled the first cross-industry training standard for working at height, but has conceded that, while falls from height appear to be reducing, more work needs to be done to stop falls from low heights. Lord Hunt, the minister responsible for health and safety, said that firms must continue to invest in safety.
