Abstract
- The article discusses the relationship developed by Harry S. Truman with the members of the working press during his tenure as U.S. president. Vice-President Truman assumed the presidency when President Franklin D. Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945. The re-election of Truman for a full-term can largely be attributed to his positive relationship with the working press.
