Abstract

This article focuses on the influence of parents and teachers on the music class performances of students. Music teachers are advised to maintain good contacts with parents who can give valuable insights to their children. Young teachers should never feel reluctant about calling a parent whenever a student acts up in class. They should always remember that parents are the primary control in the lives of their children. Music teachers should also teach students that hard work and a thorough understanding of the material will yield rewards.
