Abstract
- The article reports on the effects of Hurricane Katrina on the New Orleans Cold Storage & Warehouse Co. Ltd. in New Orleans, Louisiana. The said disaster have hindered the company's expansion plan worth 22 million dollars that would include the improvement of its freezers, warehouse space expansion and additional jobs. The company have suffered 11.5 million dollars in damage and have faced problems on relocation, insurance claims and on dredging the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet.
