Abstract: The section presents news briefs concerning foodservice equipment and supplies as of November 1999. The Vollrath Co.'s new coffee brewers and servers are constructed of a high-gloss, mirror-finish 18-8 stainless steel. Vulcan-Hart Co. has introduced a self-contained KleenScreen filtration system for use with Vulcan GR Series Fryers. The RCS Series of commercial and industrial microwave ovens from Amana Appliances has been upgraded from 800 to 1,000 watts of power.
