Abstract: This article presents information on the events, activities and recreation that people in the U.S. can enjoy during summer. On May 19, 1885 the statue of Liberty arrived in the U.S. The first roller coaster opened on May 13 1884 in Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York City. May 14 is U.S. flag day. Florida's Biscayne National Park was established on May 28, 1980.
