Abstract
- The article discusses the element of objectivity in Canadian journalism. According to the author, maintaining objectivity in press reporting is a challenge that must be faced by every journalist. Same-sex marriage, homosexuality and religious matters are some of the challenging topics that journalists must report on regardless of their moral beliefs. The author discussed her experience of studying in London, England and compared English with Canadian journalism. The author also explained why it is almost impossible for a reporter to be constantly objective.
