Abstract: The article provides an overview of the distribution market of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices in Europe. The use of AAC devices for several kinds of handicap people is widespread in Europe. Devices ranges from the most basic to a broader one However, distribution of the devices is unequal in the European countries, caused by language problems, decisions of manufacturers, traditions in each country, legislation and a lack of information.
