InterAACtion: Strategies for intentional and unintentional communicators.

The article introduces the training package for staff and carers of people who live and/or work with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and associated severe communication problems, developed by Karen Bloomberg and Denise West in Australia. The Triple C package , which means Checklist of Communication Competencies, comprises of a checklist, a 35-minute teaching video which includes a range of communication strategies, and a manual providing details on the strategies presented.
