Abstract

The article focuses on studies of temperament and allied social factors in so far as they apply to the problem of defectives of high grade employed in the community. Certain aspects of temperament measurement are important from the point of view of the employment of normals or defectives. These are persistence, neurosis, variability of performance, proneness to injury and susceptibility to monotony. The defective's performance on level of aspiration tests do not distinguish him as a class from the normal.
