THE PRE-VOCATIONAL PROGRAM.

The article discusses the pre-vocational program on mentally retarded at the Mansfield State Training School in Mansfield Depot, Connecticut. The students can be divided into two groups: one group has a mentality which, if properly developed and trained, can be considered parole potential and should be returned to the community; the other group is the mentally retarded that no amount of pre-vocational training is apt to provide them necessary qualities for community adjustments.
