REPORT OF THE SECTION ON SOCIAL WORK.

The article presents the report of the Section on Social Work of the American Association on Mental Deficiency highlighting the undertakings for the past year. The subcommittee on education were able to form a body tasked to develop a statement on focal concepts in mental retardation and the practical application to the basic sequences of the social work curriculum. Reexamination of the policies and structure of the association should be made, the report stressed.
