Abstract
- The article discusses the castration in the mentally deficient as a surgical problem. An analysis of the castration reveal that it is the easiest surgical procedure in the mental deficient. Operation on the testicle should be placed in the same group as operations on the ovary and other glandular surgery. General behavior after castration is much improved. There is little change in the tendency to develop psychosis.
