Machine Vision Basics.

The Automated Imaging Association stated that in the automotive industry, machine vision is used for a variety of activities including assembly, process verification, flaw detection, gauging, part location, and robot guidance. It is also used for fuse box inspection, tire tread recognition, powertrain, and sheet metal inspection.
