The article examines the work of authors Henry Fielding, Christoph Martin Wieland and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. According to the article, there is some sort of similarity among all three authors in their writing styles. It states that Fielding had a major influence in the emergence of Bildungsromans which is regarded as Germany's greatest contribution to prose fiction.
