Abstract
- This paper presents new research on immigrant women in the present-day United States, with a concentration on ethnographic research from the mid-Atlantic region. The researchers analyze the situations of women with regard to family reunification, domestic labor, and entrepreneurship. They argue that policy must be informed by the particular "situated" experiences of these women across ethnic and social class backgrounds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
