- Researchers at Anhui Xinhua University in Hefei, People's Republic of China, conducted a study on the role of BPO4 flux in crystal growth, focusing on BaBPO5 crystals. Through high-temperature Raman spectroscopy, they found that PBO7 groups are crucial for crystal growth and remain stable at high temperatures. The addition of PBO4 flux aids in the formation of these PBO7 units, providing insights into crystal growth mechanisms.
