Abstract

Researchers from the City University of New York (CUNY) have conducted a study on the neural correlates of visual feature binding in cognitive neuroscience. The study found that there is a temporal binding window that integrates visual features after stimulus-evoked attention but before encoding into visual short-term memory. This research sheds light on how the brain processes visual information and the mechanisms involved in feature binding. The study was supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and has been peer-reviewed for publication in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience. [Extracted from the article]
