Abstract

Recent research from Technical University Munich (TU Munich) explores the impact of solvent additives on the morphology and formation kinetics of organic solar cells. The study investigates two solvent additives, 1-chloronaphthalene and tetralin, and their selectivity for different components in the solar cells. The findings suggest that solvent additives can promote phase separation and crystal growth, ultimately enhancing the power conversion efficiency of the solar cells. This peer-reviewed research sheds light on the potential for optimizing solar cell performance through solvent manipulation. [Extracted from the article]
