Abstract
- A recent research study conducted in Aandhi village, Rajasthan, focused on assessing menstrual hygiene practices and the impact of educational interventions on menstrual health. The study involved surveys with 3290 males, 2994 females, and 242 senior citizens, revealing poor menstrual hygiene practices with 75% disposing of products improperly. Following educational interventions, there was a significant improvement in hygiene practices and awareness, highlighting the need for better menstrual hygiene education, waste disposal systems, and access to sustainable menstrual products in rural India.
