Abstract

Researchers at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agricultural & Technology in India have developed a novel approach to improve early detection of colorectal cancer by combining plasmonic biosensor technology with deep learning algorithms. The biosensors showed high sensitivity and specificity in detecting cancerous samples, with a detection limit of 10 picograms per milliliter. This integration of biosensors and deep learning algorithms has the potential to revolutionize colorectal cancer screening programs, leading to earlier diagnoses and better patient outcomes. The research was supported by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in Coimbatore, India and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
