Abstract

A study conducted at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, focused on evaluating the efficacy of ACL reconstruction using an autologous hamstring tendon in patients with ACL injuries. The research found that patients with kinesophobia had a lower rate of returning to preinjury activity levels compared to those without kinesophobia. The study suggests that overcoming this fear may lead to better outcomes for patients, but further trials with larger sample sizes are recommended before definitive conclusions can be drawn.
