Abstract

The article discusses the surgical management of an unstable osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) lesion of the tibial plafond in a 19-year-old female patient. The patient underwent surgical arthroscopy, synovectomy, debridement, microfracture, iliac crest autograft, and bone marrow aspirate concentrate to address the OCD lesion. Postoperatively, the patient showed healing at the chondral repair site and was able to return to full athletic activity without pain. The case report highlights a unique approach to treating a rare OCD lesion of the tibial plafond, emphasizing the importance of further research in this area. [Extracted from the article]
