Abstract

Researchers at Xi'an Jiaotong University have conducted a study on mesenchymal stem cells, focusing on the therapeutic potential of their extracellular vesicles (EVs) in treating neurological disorders. The study found that conditioned EVs derived from mesenchymal stem cells exhibited enhanced anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity compared to unconditioned EVs. Proteomic analysis revealed changes in protein expression and phosphorylation patterns, suggesting a promising neurotherapeutic potential for conditioned EVs in treating neurological diseases. The research was funded by Shaanxi Province Natural Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. [Extracted from the article]
