Abstract

A recent study conducted at Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine focused on the proteomic profile of antibody diversity in circulating extracellular vesicles of lung adenocarcinoma. The research found that human serum extracellular vesicles contain a significant number of antibody subtypes, with variations in antibody diversity potentially playing a role in lung cancer tumor immunity. The study compared blood extracellular vesicles of lung cancer patients and healthy individuals, identifying proteins involved in defense mechanisms, with a higher proportion being antibody subtypes in lung cancer patients. This research sheds light on the role of antibody diversity in tumor immunity and may have implications for future treatments. [Extracted from the article]
