Researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Kunming have identified key impurities in the antitumor drug homoharringtonine (HHT) through advanced analytical techniques. The study revealed the presence of previously undescribed impurities, neohomoharringtonines A-C, which were characterized using NMR and mass spectrometry.
