Abstract

A recent study conducted at Zanjan University of Medical Sciences explored the impact of group counseling based on positive psychology delivered through the WhatsApp platform on the severity of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms. Participants in the intervention group experienced a significant decrease in PMS symptoms immediately and two months post-intervention, while the control group did not show significant changes. The study suggests that utilizing positive counseling approaches, especially through social media platforms like WhatsApp, can effectively alleviate PMS symptoms, particularly in adolescents, and may be a valuable addition to adolescent health promotion strategies.
