Abstract
- Researchers at the First Affiliated Hospital of Huzhou University conducted a study on long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and their role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). The study involved 71 LUAD patients and 60 healthy volunteers, aiming to understand the associations between lncRNA-related hub genes (LRHGs) expression and outcomes in LUAD. The research established a predictive signature of 9 LRHGs for overall survival and identified potential diagnostic markers for LUAD, such as serum HOXD cluster antisense RNA 2 (HOXD-AS2). The findings suggest that the constructed LRHG model, particularly HOXD-AS2, could independently diagnose and predict the prognosis of LUAD, offering potential strategies for treatment.
