Abstract

Researchers from Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, conducted a study on the chemical compositions, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer effects of leaf essential oils from three species of the Rutaceae family. The essential oils from Acronychia pedunculata and Euodia lepta showed strong inhibitory effects against cancer cells, while Severinia monophylla exhibited a lower anti-cancer effect. Euodia lepta oil demonstrated a high anti-inflammatory effect, making it a potential medicine for cancer or inflammation-associated diseases. The research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into the medicinal properties of these essential oils. [Extracted from the article]
