Abstract

A recent study conducted in Karnataka, India, focused on lens-induced glaucoma (LIG) and its impact on post-operative cataract surgery outcomes. The research highlighted the importance of understanding the characteristics and risk factors of LIG in achieving better visual results post-surgery. The study involved 50 cases of LIG among 2700 cataract cases, with findings indicating that planned cataract surgery with efficient management of complications and inflammation can lead to good visual outcomes and fewer post-surgery complications. The study was published in the Asian Journal of Medical Sciences and can be accessed for further information. [Extracted from the article]
