Abstract

A study conducted at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz explored the relationship between IGF1, IGFBP3, BMI, and dysmenorrhea in obese women after eight weeks of combined exercise. The research found no significant correlation between IGF1 and IGFBP3 levels and dysmenorrhea symptoms, but did find a significant relationship between IGF1 levels and BMI, as well as between IGFBP3 levels and BMI. The study concluded that dysmenorrhea may be influenced by factors beyond these parameters, suggesting the need for further research to explore additional contributing factors.
