Abstract
- Researchers at Fukuoka University in Japan conducted a study on the development of subchondral insufficiency fracture of the femoral head in individuals with and without osteoporosis. Using finite element model analysis, they found that torsional force may play a significant role in the development of these fractures. The study concluded that torsion could be a key force responsible for subchondral insufficiency fracture development. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into the mechanisms behind this type of fracture. [Extracted from the article]
