Abstract

The article discusses a study on the effects of supplementing SEP, an endogenous precursor of BH4, on preventing HER2-positive breast cancer in animals. The research suggests that long-term use of SEP led to systemic metabolic and immunological reprogramming, increasing T cell counts in circulation and bone marrow, potentially promoting memory T cell formation and preventing tumor occurrence. The study highlights the potential therapeutic utility of the SEP/BH4/NO axis in preventing HER2-positive breast cancer, although the preprint has not yet been peer-reviewed.
