Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Nippon Medical School Musashikosugi Hospital in Japan focused on factors associated with insufficient cervical ripening in a controlled-release dinoprostone vaginal delivery system. The study included 103 pregnant women using Propess for labor induction, with findings indicating that older maternal age and early-term delivery were independent predictors of poor Propess efficacy. The research suggests that tailored induction protocols based on individual maternal factors could lead to more effective delivery management. For more information, the study was published in the Taiwanese Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology. [Extracted from the article]
