Abstract
- A study conducted at Yonsei University College of Medicine in South Korea compared the clinical outcomes of using bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) and hamstring autografts for ACL reconstruction in patients with combined ACL and MCL injuries. The research found that while both graft types performed similarly overall, BPTB grafts provided better medial stability and functional results in higher-grade MCL injuries. However, the study cautioned that the results should be interpreted carefully due to limitations such as a small sample size and lack of randomization in graft selection. [Extracted from the article]
