Abstract
- Researchers at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan, have developed a fluorescent orthodontic adhesive using europium ions to minimize enamel damage during bracket debonding. The study evaluated different monomer mixtures and found that the mechanical properties of the adhesive improved with higher urethane dimethacrylate content. The research suggests that the newly developed resin shows promise in preserving enamel health. The study has been peer-reviewed and published in the Dental Materials Journal.
