Researchers from Hiroshima University conducted a study to identify risk factors for recurrence in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-mutated stage I lung adenocarcinoma. The study found that tumor size, lymphovascular invasion, pleural invasion, and high-grade histologic subtype were independent risk factors for recurrence in patients with EGFR-mutated adenocarcinoma.
