Abstract

Researchers at Kashan University of Medical Sciences conducted an experimental study on the effects of L-carnitine in reducing reactive oxygen species and apoptotic gene expression in mice treated with cyclophosphamide therapy. The study found that L-carnitine significantly increased Bcl2 gene expression and decreased Bax and Caspase3 gene expression, as well as reduced reactive oxygen species levels in the mice. These findings suggest that L-carnitine may have protective benefits against infertility caused by cyclophosphamide therapy. [Extracted from the article]
