Abstract

Researchers at Anhui Medical University in China conducted a study on the impact of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) on Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) healing. The study found that NPWT upregulated the expression of RNA-binding proteins FUS and ILF2, which promoted wound healing by regulating keratinocyte function and reducing inflammation and oxidative stress. This research provides new insights into the mechanism by which NPWT aids in DFU healing. The study was peer-reviewed and published in the International Journal of Molecular Medicine.
