Abstract
- A study conducted by investigators from Kanazawa Medical University in Uchinada, Japan, compared the postoperative axial rotation of toric intraocular lenses (T-IOL) in patients who underwent cataract surgery combined with vitrectomy versus cataract surgery alone. The research found that the postoperative axial rotation of T-IOL in eyes that underwent cataract surgery combined with vitrectomy was stable and comparable to those that underwent cataract surgery alone. The study included 36 eyes of 18 patients and concluded that there was no significant difference in axial rotation between the two groups. [Extracted from the article]
