Researchers from University Hospital RWTH Aachen conducted a study on thrombosis, focusing on predicting clot formation within an oxygenator using bioimpedance analysis. The study aimed to improve monitoring techniques for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) by integrating sensor fibers within the oxygenator.
