Abstract
- A study conducted at Prince of Songkla University in Thailand developed a porous magnetic composite adsorbent for extracting polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from food samples like coffee, cocoa, and tea. The method involved using a metal-organic framework (MOF) and magnetite nanoparticles to improve extraction efficiency. The research concluded that there was no cancer risk to consumers from the intake of these food items. The study was funded by various organizations and has been peer-reviewed for accuracy.
